This random Spanish speaking country generator picks you a random Hispanic country. You can use it as a random vacation picker or for any other purposes.
My sustainable travel blog is full of random destination generators. I already have one that gives you a random country in Latin America and the Caribbean, but you’re probably looking for something slightly different. You want to pick a random Spanish speaking country, no matter the continent.

What Spanish Speaking Countries Are Included?
I’m also calling this selector a “random Hispanic country generator”, but the word “Hispanic” has many definitions.
According to Wikipedia, the word Hispanic can refer to countries that are related to Spain, Spanish language, or Hispanic culture. Such list would include countries such as the Philippines and Western Sahara where Spanish is not an official language.
I’ve used a more strict definition. This generator has a pool of 20 countries that share Spanish as one of their official languages. These countries include Equatorial Guinea in Africa. I’ve also included Puerto Rico even though it’s a part of the United States.
Here’s a list of all the possibilities in the generator:
- Argentina, South America
- Bolivia, South America
- Chile, South America
- Colombia, South America
- Costa Rica, Central America
- Cuba, the Caribbean
- Dominican Republic, the Caribbean
- Ecuador, South America
- El Salvador, Central America
- Equatorial Guinea, Africa
- Guatemala, Central America
- Honduras, Central America
- Mexico, North America
- Nicaragua, Central America
- Panama, Central America
- Paraguay, South America
- Peru, South America
- Puerto Rico (USA), the Caribbean
- Spain, Europe
- Uruguay, South America
- Venezuela. South America
About the Random Generators
As you may have noticed, some of the entries include links to my blog posts. I am Arimo Koo, a sustainable travel blogger from Finland who has visited over 60 countries. I traveled to most of these countries during my 2-year trip around the world.
This website focuses on sustainable travel guides – such as “How to Travel from Europe to America by Ship” – but I’ve also created tons of random generators. Most of these are random destination pickers, but I’ve also created a few for other purposes (i.e. Random Things to Do).
I hope this generator has been helpful for you! If you use the generator to plan a vacation or even a topic for a geography essay, I’d be happy to know about it. You can share your results in the comments below or you can contact me on Instagram (@arimotravels).
