Here is a list of Spanish names that start with S. The page includes Spanish names for boys and girls from different eras, as well as last names.

The list is divided into several sections. Most modern and traditional names and surnames are drawn from the official statistics of Spain’s National Institute of Statistics. Modern names are those popular today, while traditional names were popular throughout the 1900s. Some names appear in both eras.

All of the names also appear in my Random Spanish Name Generator.

As the modern names come from official statistics, not all of them are “ethnically” Spanish. However, I decided to keep the statistics as they are instead of filtering out names with different backgrounds.
