Arimo Travels is home to many random generators beyond this one. I’ve made versions for every US state, including neighboring ones like Arizona, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, and Utah. Visit the Random Generators page to explore them and many more.
I originally launched Arimo Travels as a travel blog during my two-year journey across the globe. Over time, I expanded it to cover topics such as flightless travel and random generators. Read more about the site here.
I have not used my own random generators for travel, but I have had similar ways of pciking random destinations. For example, I have thrown darts at the map of Europe and used a globe to pick a completely random destination.
Although most of my generators are travel-related, I’ve also made some for other purposes. For example, I have tools for picking a random movie or choosing a random charity.

I really like New Mexico. I had the chance to visit New Mexico in 2025 when I crossed the United States by train, and I loved the nature and history of the state. Santa Fe is very high on my list of places I wouldn’t mind living in. The photo from Raton is from that trip.
