It includes every city in the state with a population of at least 2,000 according to the 2020 census. The results also show the population of each selected location. In total, there are 240 different cities in this randomizer.

I passed through Missouri when I took the Southwest Chief train from Los Angeles, California, to Chicago, Illinois. The two pictures above are from that journey: one is from the eastern side of Kansas City, and the other is a quick snapshot taken from a moving train as we traveled through La Plata, Missouri.
Were it not for the train tracks, I’d say La Plata is about as random as a town in Missouri can get.
