This randomizer includes all 128 Croatian cities and towns. It is based on Wikipedia’s list of Croatian settlements. In Croatia, there is no formal distinction between a city and a town. To gain the status of a grad (city or town), a place must either be a county seat, have more than 10,000 residents, or be granted the status due to historical or other exceptional reasons.

My Experiences of Croatia (or the Lack of Them)
I’ve created random city generators for 26 different countries in Europe, covering nearly all major nations in the region. But while working on these tools, I noticed something: Croatia is the only one of them that I haven’t actually visited.
In total, I’ve explored 32 European countries—and Croatia remains one of the few I’ve yet to experience. Why is that?
Near the end of my two-year trip around the world, I had two possible routes from Turkey to Central Europe. One would take me along the west coast of the Balkans, while the other led inland.
I chose the inland route through North Macedonia and Serbia. Not because I wasn’t interested in Croatia—quite the opposite. I’m so interested in Croatia that I didn’t want to rush through it. Instead, I decided to wait for the right opportunity to fully explore what the country has to offer.
