This random city generator for Puerto Rico includes all 78 municipalities in the self-governing Caribbean archipelago.
Puerto Rico has a population of over 3 million people and is located in the northeastern Caribbean. The island features a mix of larger cities and smaller towns—and this randomizer includes them all.
Random Puerto Rican City Generator
This random city wheel is based on Wikipedia’s list of municipalities of Puerto Rico. In Puerto Rico, municipalities with over 50,000 people are incorporated as cities, while smaller municipalities are considered towns.
Following this classification would have limited the number of locations in this randomizer to just 14. Because of that, I chose to include all 78 municipalities of Puerto Rico, regardless of their population.

Cities in Puerto Rico and Other Parts of the U.S.
Before creating this generator, I had already made 50 similar randomizers for cities in every U.S. state. While Puerto Rico is not a state, it is a significant territory of the United States. So, it felt logical to follow up those generators with one about Puerto Rico.
And this is just one of many random generators on Arimo Travels. I’ve also made others related to the U.S. and the Caribbean, such as a random U.S. state generator and a Caribbean island generator.
In total, I’ve created over 100 randomizers. While many focus on travel and geography, others cover all sorts of topics—from random colors to random Pokémon. You can find them all on the Random Generators page.

It always takes a while to see how well different randomizers find their audience. In this case, I’m interested to see how well a randomizer for Puerto Rican towns performs against the U.S. states.
