Feeling lucky? This random lottery number generator might be your gateway to riches.
Lotteries are popular games of chance played around the world, offering participants the opportunity to win large cash prizes. While the concept of a lottery—or lotto—is similar globally, the number of selected digits and their ranges can vary. This random lottery number generator allows you to adjust the settings, making it suitable for many types of lotteries.
Using the Randomizer
This lotto number randomizer offers two customizable settings. First, you can set the upper limit of the number range. Second, you can toggle between generating separate random numbers or an ongoing series.
You can use this randomizer either to pick your own lottery numbers or to host a casual lottery event yourself. It can be a fun activity at a get-together with friends or family.

How I Made This Randomizer
I’m not much of a programmer. For many years, all my random generators were based on a short piece of code a friend wrote for me way back in 2018. Since then, I’ve learned to build on that code to create all sorts of random generators.
With this randomizer, however, I wanted to add a few features that were far beyond my skill level. Luckily, the development of AI tools has changed the game when it comes to programming. In the end, I was able to include all the features I wanted—with help from ChatGPT.
The code may be AI-assisted, but the header image is not. I actually took the background photo way back in 2012.
A photo from the same shoot was once used as a banner on our student association’s website. I had bought the yellow pen on purpose, as yellow was the color of our association. I also crossed out the numbers 2, 6, and 19 on the lottery ticket, as those digits form the year our organization was founded: 1962.

In 2016, I blindfolded myself and drew a random circle on the globe. After 2 years of travel, I finally arrived at my random destination—Nairobi, Kenya—in March 2018. While there, I decided to create a few random destination generators for others to try as well.
In the years since, those few generators have turned into over 100 randomizers covering all sorts of topics. For example, I’ve made generators for random alphabet and random charities. You can find all the randomizers on the Random Generators page.
