Random Alphabet Generator
A random letter generator can be used for many purposes. It can be helpful in games or useful for kids learning to read and write. You can use this generator however you like.
While working on this randomizer, I noticed that some people wanted a version with no repeats. Because of this, I added a “No Repeats” option. When you click the “No Repeats” button, the chosen letters stay on screen and won’t appear again unless you reset the randomizer.

About the Making of This Generator
My biggest challenge with this project was deciding whether to call it a “random alphabet” or a “random letter” generator. I believe more people search for random letters, but I also noticed that nearly all similar tools use the word letter in their names. I hope that choosing a slightly different title helps this random wheel stand out.
A funny thing happened while I was creating the header photo for this generator. Aside from a few personal Easter eggs, the letters in the background were generated randomly. But when I looked at the final image, I noticed a certain four-letter word had appeared on the left side of the picture.
At first, I thought about leaving it in for a laugh. But then I remembered that this generator is also meant for kids—and they don’t need to learn all the words that start with F. So, I swapped out the second letter before publishing the final image.

Why is there a random alphabet generator on a travel site? It all started with random destinations.
In 2016, I picked a completely random place anywhere in the world. After one very long detour, I finally arrived at my random destination—Nairobi, Kenya—in March 2018.This website was originally about that 2-year journey. Once I reached my random destination, I decided to create a few random destination generators for others to enjoy as well.
